WWE May Slamcrate: The Grandest Stage Unboxing!

Happy Friday Superstars! Thank you for tuning into this month’s WWE Slamcrate unboxing, featuring the theme: The Grandest Stage! In the last unboxing I mentioned that this crate would feature WWE SuperStars like Seth Rollins, Stone Cold Steve Austin and AJ Styles! Let’s see what we received in this Wrestlemania themed Crate (that actually came ino time this month lol)!

What I love about the Slam Crates is that you always received some notable items. The real value in the crates are the high quality T-shirts and figures. This month’s T featured my favorite wrestler of all time…AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE!

Because Stone Cold Said So!

I have already worn my Stone Cold T and I’m happy to add him to my collection of WWE shirts. Great job Lootcrate!

I give the shirt an A+ ranking!

To go along with apparel, we received the Phenomenal AJ Styles Socks! Not too shabby if I don’t say so myself lol. 20180503_101251.jpg I will probably keep these packaged for awhile until I visit my next Live WWE event. Then, I’m sure to break them out with the rest of my WWE attire.

I give the socks a B+ ranking!

Since we are still dressing, the next item received is this awesome Universal Title Fanny Pack!  20180503_101303.jpg If you remember last year’s unboxing (click here to view), we received the WWE World Title Fanny Pack and I used it during Wrestlemania. I remember being at the WWE Fan event and EVERYONE stopping me to ask where I bought the fanny pack. I was sad to tell them, that it was the Slamcrate, you couldn’t purchase one haha. I know the Slamcrate creatives tried to mask the high demand for these by creating the Universal title counterpart, but the novelty has already wore off for me.

I give the title a C+ Ranking!

My figure! This series of 4 WWE Superstars is named Statement Makers! We started with Sasha Banks, the Finn Balor and now my husband Seth Rollins takes his place on my display shelf.

There are 3 variations of the figure, so I’m super happy that I have received the gray and black version.

This one’s easy, I give the figure an A+++++++++++ Ranking lol.

Lastly we have the collectible pins. In the WWE Slamcrates, the pins have been titles in the WWE.  20180503_101310.jpg The new Tag titles are the star of this box and makes the final item in my crate. The Tag Titles are dope and I’m happy to add it to my collection.

I give the pin a B Ranking!

That’s this month’s crate! I can say that the number of items have seemed to dwindle down from the beginning, but we are receiving better quality items. This is not my favorite crate, but it was pretty decent and still worth the price just by the shirt and figure alone. Next month’s crate will feature the Braun Strowman figure that will complete my 2nd set of WWE Superstars! SuperStar Shake Up Predictions & Thoughts!

Happy Monday SuperStars! Wrestlemania is the event in WWE where all SuperStars on the roster try to make a huge impact. Think the Super Bowl or NBA Finals but for Wrestlers. Last week I neglected to post mypredictions and a recap of teh event because I was just sooo excited and forgot to set aside time for the a great prediction post. In lieu of my poor planning, this weekend I’m going to post my predictions on what will happen during the SuperStar Shake Up on Monday and Tuesday!

What is a SuperStar Shake Up? – For the past 2 years, since the brands have split, Smackdown and Raw have essentially “Traded” WWE SuperStars from 1 brand to the other.

Why does this matter? – A SuperStar Shake Up is both best for business and best for the fans because:

  • We can see new potential match-ups, feuds and rivalries
  • It keeps viewing numbers up no both shows by providing different SuperStars (for example, I don’t really watch Smackdown but it Seth Rollins is traded to SD, I’ll be a faithful viewer every week lol)
  • Allows SuperStars to build a bigger fan base and widen their repotoir.

My Predictions For SuperStars coming to Monday Night Raw!

  1. The Usos –  usosThis is probably my biggest and most likely to happen prediction. Since the Usos have changed their persona and became a “Heel” team on SD Live, they’ve elevated their game and fan base. the Usos held the Smackdown Live Tag Title for most of the year and continues to put on a great show against their biggest rivals; The New Day! While their perormance is always one of my favorites, it’s stale and moving the tag team to Raw will  shake things up and provide great matches. I can see the Tag Team interrupting one of the matches in the Tag Team Elimination Tournament and continuing their successful heel turn through Monday nights.
  2. Naomi-   naomiSince Jimmy Uso and Naomi are married, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the ex- Smackdown Live Women’s Champion on the Monday nightshow. Other than the spousal reason, I feel that moving Naomi over is a great move for Raw’s Women divison. The one area where Monday Night Raw has lacked was the Women’s Division. Bringing a crowd favorite and top notch performer like Naomi to the show will hopefull breathe life back into the division on Raw. Plus with the bump of Ember Moon to the main roster, there’s bound to be great battles ahead and (fingers crossed) a Women’s Tag Team Title in the works!

My General Predictions!

The general predictions are things that I believe will happen, but I’m not sure which brand will reap the benefits.

  1. Riott Squad Vs Absolution!
  2. Bullet Club Supremacy Battle- The Phenomenal Vs The Extraordinary!
  3. The feud between Asuka and Charlotte will continue on one of the brands

My concerns:

  • Will the brands switch United States and Intercontinental Titles?

Those are my predictions for tonight’s SuperSatr Shake-Up! What do you think will happen? Who will be switching brands? Let’s talk WWE!

WWE Slam Crate March ( Late) Unboxing!

Happy Saturday SuperStars! This past week was Wrestlemania 34 and to celebrate, I’ve finally received my Slam Crate to be unboxed! The past few crates have been arriving late, but it’s finally here and I couldn’t wait to open it!

Every Slam crate we looters receive a shirt worn by the WWE SuperStar that’s being featured. This month we have received the Bobby Roode Slam Crate Exclusive shirt and it was GLORIOUS!

There’s an exclusive figure inside of each month’s Slam Crate and each figure comes wth a corner of the ring. This series of 4 focuses on the “Statement Makers” and  Finn Balor in Demon Form was included with this month’s crate!

I really enjoy the new figures that are exclusively available with the Slam Crate and next month we have received a preview that my husband Seth Rollins will be the next figure in the set! Sasha Banks and Finn Balor, make room for The Architect, The Man, Monday Night Rollins!

The WWE Pin that we received in this crate was the United Kingdom Championship Belt. While I love the belts being the Pins of the crates, I wonder what will happen when we run out of belts? Maybe the crate will go back and start including old school belts like the Hardcore Championship. The UK Pin is one of my favorites out of all of the ones we have received. 20180322_212728.jpg

Remember the first crate of the year that included the WWE Planner? Well in this follw-up crate the Planner Stickers are included. The planner stickers are cool but I felt like they should’ve been included with the planner. What happened was a misprint of the planners and now we have double Sundays! So the stickers were created as an after thought to be able to cover up that mistake. 20180322_212744.jpg

A cool Macho Man Beanie and Scarf was in the crate which I won’t use that much (because I love in Florida and it’s HOTTTTT!) but I’m probably going to hang it somewhere on my wall. 20180322_212808.jpg

Next Month’s Theme is “The Grandest Stage” and features items from Stone Cold Steve Austin, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins! If you would like to  try out the WWE Slam Crates, feel free to use my looter code for a discount.  Click Here For Lootcrate Discount!20180322_212723.jpg

Those were my inclusions in the Slam Crate and I’ve really enjoyed everything this month. The quality of the shirts and figures adds up to the cost of the crate itself. Which items did you like? Did you watch Wrestlemania? Do you receive any subscription crates? Let’s Talk WWE and Subscriptions!

WWE Fastlane Predictions!

Happy Saturday SuperStars and welcome to the final pay per view event before Wrestlemania. Smackdown Live’s best will be featured in the Fastlane Event to solidify their spots going into Wrestlemania in New Orleans. The landscape for Raw has been set and now it’s Smackdown’s turn to make a move.

6 Pack Challenge –

The WWE World Championship title will be on the line in a 6 Pack challenge where Champ Aj Styles will take on John Cena, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The winner of this match will face Nakamura for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania and each Superstar is ready to earn their way into the main event.

Prediction: Aj Styles will retain

Smackdown Tag Team Championship –

The Usos will take on the New Day for teh Smackodown Live Tag Team Titles. While I’m sure there was a match last year, maybe at Backlash where they agreed to have their final match, I’m not too upset with this showing. When the Usos and The New Day fight each other, the results are amazing. Both squads bring out the best in their opponents so I’m sure this will be a match full of highlights.

Prediction: I see the New Day taking the titles.

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match –

Women’s Champion Charlotte will take on the leader of the Riot Squad Ruby Riot for the title. I’m not sure how this match came about as I don’t watch too much of Smackdown live, but I’m sure it has something to do with the Riott Squad jumping Superstars in the back. I’m not sure what to expect from this match at all.

Prediction: Wouldn’t it be great if Carmella cashes in here Money In The Back Contract? Yup, that’s what I’m going with in this match, Carmella leaving as champion.

Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Natalya and Carmella –

This match looks to be interesting with Becky and Naomi battling their heel adversaries Natalya and Carmella. I’m sure that this match will happen early in the evening, before the Women’s Championship Match because I’m betting that Carmella cashes in.

Predictions: I want Beckyand Naomi to win this match!

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev –

This is another match that I’m not sure about. I’m a Rusev fan, before the Rusev Day became a thing so I love see him being featured in top talent matches. Nakamura is riding on the momentum of winning the Royal Rumble this year.

Prediction: Nakamura wins by DQ. I see Aiden English interfering in the match.

US Championship –

Champion Bobby Roode will take on Randy Orton for the United States Title.

Prediction: Bobby Roode Retains.

That wraps up my predictions for the Fastlane event. What are your predictions? Who do you think will be victorious and headline Wrestlemania? Let’s talk WWE!

-Luna 🙂

Elimination Chamber Results!

Happy Monday Superstars! Last night was the RAW Brand Exclusive Elimination Chamber event which took place in Las Vegas, Nevada! We seen a few “1sts” in the event and overall I thought RAW put on a great (albeit predictable) show! Let’s jump into the matches and results and if you haven’t watched the event yuet, this if your official **Spoiler Alert, Spoiler Alert!**

Raw Women Elimination Chamber Match-

Both Elimination chamber matches were great but the show kicked off with the 1st ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The Superstars were locked in the Chamber with 2 women starting and the 4 locked in pods. Every 5 minutes a random pod would open to allow another competitor in the match. This was elimination rules and the winner left Las Vegas with the Raw Women’s Championship belt! The Superstars participating were Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James! The Women put on a great show using the cage well to their advantage. You know a match is good if you’re afraid to look at some of the stunts performed. Bayley and Sonya Deville started the match with the other 4 ladies locked in the pod. 1 by 1 they started entering into the match. Leading up to the match we knew that Bayley and Sasha Banks, Mandy Rose and Sonya and Alexa and Micki were in their respective “alliances.” Most of the Superstars teamed up to give themselves the best opportunity to win.

Mandy Rose was eliminated first with the Banks Statement, putting her Absolution sister at a disadvantage. The ladies were scaling to new heights, literally and making a great match. elim6

Results: Alexa Bliss Retains her championship, with an oscar worthy performance with her promo at the end!

Raw Tag Team Titles –

Next up was the tag team championship match where The Bar Sheamus and Cesaro took on Titus O’Neill and Apollo Crews. I didn’t watch much of this match so I can’t comment on the execution.

Results: Sheamus and Cesaro Retain

Nia Jax versus Asuka –

This match was set up to allow Asuka and Nia to duke it out. If Nia wins, she is entered into the Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania, if Asuka wins her undefeated streak continues and she has her 1 on 1 match at Wrestlemania. Asuka was quick, agile and hard striking and Nia was her dominant self tossing Asuka around the ring at times. The match went pretty much the way I expected but it was good none the less.

Results: Asuka wins.

Bray Wyatt versus Matt Hardy

Another match that I wasn’t interested in at all. Sad to say but I hope Jeff returns soon.

Results: Matt Hardy Wins.

Ronda Rousey Contract Signing-

So you knew something was going to happen when it was announced that a live contract signing would take place with the “Baddest Woman on the Planet.” I was expecting a locker room protest, attack from behind, something to get the adrenaline moving. Sure enough you see Kurt Angle very distraught and HHH trying to calm him down. Then it happens, Kurt spills the beans that Stephanie McMahon and HHH are manipulating Rousey which didn’t bode well for the UFC former champion. She puts HHH through a table and her whole demeanor changes!

It looks like the Stone Cold versus Vince McMahon but the Women’s version with Ronda taking on Stephanie McMahon. Really excited to see what happens on RAW.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match-

This was my favorite match of the night. For the first time, 7 Superstars were placed in the Elimination Chamber with 3 starting and 4 in pods. The competitors were Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Elias Samson, The Miz and John Cena. Seth, Miz and Finn started which was a good starting line up. Miz was up to his usual antics trying to team up with Seth versus Finn and when the architect declined, offering his alliance to Balor. The first few minutes were entertaining with Miz being tossed around while Balor and Seth fight. The highlight was Balor and Rollins taking turns knocking Miz back down when he tried to get to his feet. The match was really good and became even better when the 6th Superstar, Braun Strowman was released into the chamber.

As expected everyone tried to team up but Braun demolished the field single handedly eliminating most of the competitors. At one point Braun was hit with the AA from Cena, Spear from Reigns, Curb Stomp from Rollins and the Coup de Gras from Balor to lay mangled outside of the ring. Too bad no one could move him back in and PIN HIM!!!! The final match-up was of course Braun versus Roman.

Results: Roman Reigns is Brock Lesner’s opponent at Wrestlemania.

  • The costumes from some of the Superstars.
  • The stare downs of the competitors locked in the chamber pods
  • Good executions and promos

So I was pretty pleased with the Pay Per View event and the performances of the Superstars. As I started watching pretty late, I did skip 2 matches that I didn’t have any interest in but the main matches were really good. Once again I am amazed at the talent and depth of the Women’s Division and I can’t wait to see the fallout of the event tonight on RAW. Have you watched Elimination Chamber? What were your favorite moments? What do you think will happen now leading into Wrestlemania? Let’s talk WWE!

WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions!

Happy Sunday Novas! Somehow I completely forgot to post my predictions post yesterday for tonight’s Elimination Chamber WWE Event. Now worries, I’ll post a quick prediction for each match today and have my recap post for you tomorrow. The Elimination Chamber event is an annual pay per view where Superstars are locked in a pod inside of a steel cage and the pods are opened during the match to allow a new Superstar into the match. Typically this match has 6 Superstars wrestling and battling to be the chamber victor. This year we have a few surprises in the chamber so let’s look at the line-up!

Raw Tag Team Championship Match-

The Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro will take on Apollo Crews and Titues O’Neill for the titles. While I am happy that there are finally different tag team match-ups I’m a bit disappointed that Sheamus and Cesaro are still champions. This match should be good and I’m happy that Apollo and Titus are getting a featured match.

Prediction: I see Sheamus and Cesaro retaining their titles tonight. But I’m sure the match will be close.

Nia Jax versus Asuka-

This match is interesting as Asuka is undefeated. So if Nia Wins, she will be entered into the Wrestlemania Match between Auska and whichever champion she decides to face (remember she never chose Charlotte or Alexa Bliss). I think it would be appropriate and absolutely AMAZINGGGGG if Nia ends Asuka’s Streak and get a marquee match at Wrestlemania.

Prediction: I don’t think Nia will pin or submit Asuka, but she may win the match through disqualification or count out. I’m predicting Nia to win, but idk how it’s going to happen lol.

Matt Hardy versus Bray Wyatt-

This match is another of the mind games matches between Bray and Matt. They have been targeting each other for a while now with Matt Hardy using the same tactics as Bray with interfering with the matches.

Prediction: Matt Hardy Wins.

Raw Women’s Elimination Chamber Match –

the last 2 years have been groundbreaking for the Women’s Division at WWE. Another “1st” is made tonight with the 1st Women’s Elimination Chamber match and get this… it’s a TITLE MATCH! That’s right, Alexa Bliss will be defending her title in the Elimination Chamber against Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Mickie James. This is going to be great as the women have been stepping up and showing why they are marquee attractions and main eventers!

Predictions: I don’t see Alexa retaining unless Sonya and Mandy team up against Sasha and Bayley. The Classic distraction and Mickie James gets pinned…. But If the title were to switch hands, I see it going to Sasha Banks or Bayley, which will set up a feud for Wrestlemania (because I’m sure Asuka is challenging Charlotte).

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match –

The Men’s Elimination Chamber match was set up by a number of qualifying matches the last 3 weeks on RAW. The entrants are John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Elias Samson, The Miz and Braun Strowman. The stakes are high in this one as well as the winner will punch their ticket to Wrestlemania as the opponent for the Universal Champion; Brock Lesner! I’m super happy about all of the SuperStars in this match and I would be happy with any outcome.

Prediction: So we all want Braun Strowman to win, but if he doesn’t I can see the winner being Roman reigns. I hope it is Braun so that he can finally be champion and bring the title back to being visible on RAW.

Ronda Rousey Contract Signing-

One of the highlights will be the signing of Ronda Rousey. Now we all know that she has already signed with WWE, so the public contract signing makes me think that something’s going to happen. Maybe she gets attacked, interrupted by the locker room or opposed in some way. I can’t wait!

Thank you for reading my predictions for tonight’s PPV event. What are your predictions? Are you looking forward to any of the matches? Let’s talk WWE!

Royal Rumble 2018 Results!

Happy Monday Superstars! Thank you for reading today’s recap post of the 2018 Royal Rumble that took place last night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and it was a great kickoff to the Wrestlemania Season! Please keep in mind that spoilers of the event is inbound, so if you did not watch you may want to stop reading now. This is your official **Spoiler Alert, Spoiler Alert!**

WWE Championship Match –

The first match of the night was the WWE Championship title match where champion AJ Styles fought against both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. This handicap match was a great way to begin the night and it delivered. Everything that we would expect from a handicap match was delivered and AJ Styles put on a “Phenomenal” showing. This match was weird for me as I like AJ Styles but I also Love Kevin Owens and his newly reunited friendship with Sami Zayn (although it pales in comparison to JeriKO lol). I was cooking during this match so I didn’t get the play by play, but from what I did watch, I was impressed.

Results: AJ Styles retains his title!

Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship Match-

Next up was the SD Live Tag Team match where The Usos took on Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. The tag team division over at SD Live has been ramping up its game lately and Gable and Benjamin always put on a great show. I was still cooking so I didn’t see too much of this match.

Results: The Usos retain their title

Mens Royal Rumble Match – 161_RR_01282018mm_7456--23431da0110754851d77e3421b817d1b

I was pleasantly surprised that the Men’s Royal Rumble was 3rd on the card. Normally this will be the main event match, but WWE had other plans in store. The 1st 2 starting Superstars were Rusev and Finn Balor, who both lasted pretty long in the match. We had a few surprises with the NXT Champion Andrade Cien Almas entering the rumble and Sami Zayn taking out Tye Dillinger at number 10 to enter in his place. I was very surprised when “ BURN IT DOWNNNNNN” played and my husband came running down the ramp in fire and flames pants. One moment that was fantastic for me (albeit predictable) was when Roman Reigns eliminated Seth Rollins and they exchanged looks of understanding… Seth I love you, but you did have that coming lol. Number 30 wasn’t the shocker that we all wanted, but Dolph Ziggler coming in was cool. Another highlight was the warm up match for a few Superstars where they came down the ramp and hit Heath Slater lol.

 Here’s the rumble entry order:

  1. Rusev
  2. Finn Balor
  3. Rhyno
  4. Baron Corbin
  5. Heath Slater
  6. Elias
  7. WWE NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas
  8. Bray Wyatt
  9. Big E
  10. Tye Dillinger (spot stolen by Sami Zayn)
  11. Sheamus
  12. Xavier Woods
  13. Apollo Crews
  14. Shinsuke Nakamura
  15. Cesaro
  16. Kofi Kingston
  17. Jinder Mahal
  18. RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins
  19. Matt Hardy
  20. John Cena
  21. “The Hurricane” Shane Helms
  22. Aiden English
  23. Adam Cole
  24. Randy Orton
  25. Titus O’Neil
  26. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz
  27. Rey Mysterio
  28. Roman Reigns
  29. Goldust
  30. Dolph Ziggler

Results: Nakamura is going to Wrestlemania!

Raw Tag Team Championship Match-

After the rumble, my husband and half of the Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins took on the Bar with a cameo from Jason Jordan. I can’t stand Jordan and I hate that he costs Seth Rollins matches over and over and over again. I say cameo because if you did watch, Jordan spent most of the match laying by the side of the ring holding his head smh. Seth fought a great match against the bar until Jason tagged himself in and immediately tagged himself back out. I can’t stand him, really. I did like the match and Seth pulled out a move that I haven’t seen in a while.

Results: The Bar are the new Raw Tag Team Champions.

Universal Championship Match –

The triple threat match between champion Brock Lesner, Braun Strowman and Kane. This match was great with all the roughness that a WWE fan would expect. Braun dominated early putting everyone through tables and rising like a beast when he was put through one by the Beast. Brock took Braun to Suplex City  and Kane was handing out chokeslams like hotcakes. What more could you want?

Results: Brock Lesner Retains -_-

Women’s Royal Rumble Match

Firstly, I was surprised and excited when I realized that the Women’s match would be the main event of the Royal Rumble. There’s so many talented Superstars and it was an amazing match all around. The starting women were Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. I was extremely impressed with the women’s rumble and when Lita came in at number 5 I jumped off the sofa screaming, “I knew it, I knew it!” There were many surprise entrants like Molly Holly and Kelly Kelly that had me geeking out. When Nikki Bella came out I was clapping my hands and I looked to my friend and said, I wonder if Brie will come out? Sure enough Brie came out next! Number 30 for the Women’s match was a surprise as Trish Stratus came out. I thought it would be Ronda Rousey but it’s ok.

Here’s the Entrance Order:

  1. Sasha Banks
  2. Becky Lynch
  3. Sarah Logan
  4. Mandy Rose
  5. WWE Hall of Famer Lita
  6. Kairi Sane
  7. Tamina Snuka
  8. Dana Brooke
  9. Torrie Wilson
  10. Sonya Deville
  11. Liv Morgan
  12. Molly Holly
  13. Lana
  14. Michelle McCool
  15. Ruby Riott
  16. Vickie Guerrero
  17. Carmella
  18. Natalya
  19. Kelly Kelly
  20. Naomi
  21. WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline Moore
  22. Nia Jax
  23. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon
  24. WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix
  25. Asuka
  26. Mickie James
  27. Nikki Bella
  28. Brie Bella
  29. Bayley
  30. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus

Results: No One Is Ready For Asuka!

But wait… there’s more! Charlotte and Alexa Bliss came in the ring so that Asuka could select her opponent for Wrestlemania. Before she could choose RONDA ROUSEY came out! Yes, that’s right! I knew it, I knew it, Ronda Rousey is in the WWE! Hopefully more will be announced tonight on Monday Night Raw.  20180128_RoyalRumble_RumbleWomen_Photo_Rousey_Asuka--424573cb447ced0f92c9b827be5e4104

  • Naomi’s tricks to get back in the ring without being eliminated
  • The pancake barrage by The New Day
  • Nakamura’s win and his decision to face AJ Styles at Wrestlemania
  • The Generations stare between Cena, Orton and Rey Mysterio versus Roman, Finn and Nakamura.

It was a great Rumble and 10X better than last year. The matches were good and the results were pretty good as well. I can’t wait to see Monday Night Raw tonight and hopefully, Ronda Rousey will be back! What did you think of the event? What were your favorite matches? What are your predictions for the fallout this week and what are your Wrestlemania Predictions? Let’s talk Royal Rumble!

2018 WWE Royal Rumble Predictions!

Happy Saturday Superstars and suit up for the first WWE Predictions and event of 2018; The Royal Rumble! The RUmble is the start of the Road to Wrestlemania and it will be held in Philadelphia this year. There are a few exciting matches that I am definitely excited for like the Women’s Rumble Match and the 2 on 1 Handicap WWE championship match, so I’m hoping 2018 will start off with a bang.

The Smackdown Live Champions The Usos will take on Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin for the Tag Team Titles

The Smackdown match will be 2 out of 3 falls where the first team to gain 2 pinfalls or submissions will win the title. I haven’t watched the build up of this match but I know that Shelton and Gable have been causing a ruckus in the Tag Team division on Raw. The Usos held the Tag Titles for most of 2017 so I’m looking for a change here.

Results: Shelton and Gable become the new Tag Team Champions!

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan will take on The Bar Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Team Titles –

The Raw Tag Team Champions are the rag tag team of Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan. On their first night as partners, they took down the Bar and secured the Raw Tag Titles (even though this annoyed me). The Bar gets their rematch in Philly at the Royal Rumble and they’re out for blood. With the mistakes by Jordan, can this team pull off another win?I’m waiting for the inevitable full heel turn of Jason Jordan to Seth, but I don’t think it’s going to happen here.

Results: Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan Retain.

Triple Threat for the Universal Championship between Champion Brock Lesner, Braun Strowman and Kane

This match is one that I’m not wanting to watch, but I do want there to FINALLY be a change in the Universal Champion. I look for this match to be physical and good, but I’m so tired of Brock being champion that it’s ridiculous. Pleaseeee WWE…. Give the title to Braun Strowman!

Results: Braun Strowman will liberate the Universal Championship so that we can see it on Raw, sheesh.

WWE Championship Handicap Match with champion AJ Styles taking on challengers Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn –

I’m a bit upset that I didn’t watch the build-up to this match because I love all 3 Superstars. The reunion of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens (with Zayn turning heel) was a great move by the WWE and it’s one of the highlights for Smackdown. AJ Styles has been an incredible champion and has really elevated Smackdown. Will the Phenomenal One retain his title or will we see the first ever Co-WWE Title Champions.

Results: AJ Styles retains

Womens Royal Rumble Match

For the first time ever, the women of both Smackdown Live and Monday Night Raw will go head to head in a royal rumble match. I’m very excited about this match and as a woman, I have high expectations. This has been the first time that I have truly enjoyed the women’s division matches and I love seeing the growth that each Superstar is making. We are going to see some of the greatest women mix it up like Asuka, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Naomi! We’re in for a great treat and as with all Royal Rumble matches, the last woman standing gets a title shot at Wrestlemania. I look forward to seeing entrants from NXT like Shayna Bazler or Ember Moon. I also look to see Ronda Rousey at number 30… come on WWW, give the people what they want lol!

Results: Yikes! I don’t know. I assume that it will be Asuka, but who knows lol.

Mens Royal Rumble Match

The Men’s Royal Rumble match is going to be littered with Raw and Smackdown Superstars with the same format as the Women’s match. This will surely be the main event of the night as it is  the headliner. Here are some of my predictions for the match. I think Daniel Bryan will enter the Royal Rumble! It’s been rumored that he’s cleared and with the tension between him and Shane on Smackdown, I can see the GM versus the Commissioner being a storyline going into Wrestlemania. Did anyone else notice that CM Punk was in the RAW 25th Anniversary packages? Yes, they were only flashbacks, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Punk enter the rumble.

Results: I have NO IDEA! My co-workers are going with Nakamura and my friends are going with Roman Reigns. I really can’t say and I really don’t know. I’ll say Finn Balor so that I can have some sort of prediction.

Those are my quick predictions for tomorrow’s Royal Rumble match! What are your predictions? Which matches are you looking forward to? Let’s Talk wwe!

WWE SlamCrate Unboxing: Like A Boss!

Happy Friday SuperStars and thanks for suplexing into today’s unboxing post. Like the last SlamCrate, this one was delayed (most likely due to the holidays) as I was supposed to receive it before the end of December. It just arrived in the mail on Tuesday.

Theme: Like A BOSS!

Roman Reigns T-Shirt –

The Big Dog, Roman Reigns adorns the shirt in this month’s crate and he is performing his signature Super Man Punch! Roman is “The Guy” in the WWE at the moment and it’s his yard. He is the boss of his own destiny and now with the backing of the newly reunited Shield, Roman is unstoppable!

Sasha Banks Slam Stars-

Sasha Banks is the “Legit Boss” as her moniker states and she is the exclusive figure in this month’s crate. Just like the last set of Slam Stars you will receive a corner of the ring with your figure that you can connect when you receive the other figures. Next month’s figure is Finn Balor in demon form so I’m super excited! Sasha starts the new “Statement” collection so I can’t wait to see the remaining figures! Also, the Boss is the first Woman Superstar to come as a figure in the crate.

NXT Championship Belt Pin –

Each crate there is an exclusive pin and this month the NXT Championship Belt is the one we received.

You Suck! Kurt Angle Coffee Mug –

We received a coffee mug from Kurt Angle and it bears the You Suck chant.

WWE 2018 Planner –

The planner is probably my favorite item even though I already bought one!!!! Had the crate arrived on time last month, I wouldn’t be currently trying to use 2 planners lol.

What’s inside –

This crate didn’t have many items, but I really enjoyed the quality of the items that are included. The poster included is Daniel Bryan during the YES movement and it’s going straight on my wall. We also have the interview with Bobby Roode in the pamphlet.

I was a bit disappointed that we did not receive the booklet that we normally get in the crates with more detailed information on other “Bosses” in the WWE. Hopefully, that was just an oversight and will be included in the next crate. We did receive a preview of the collectible to be included in next month’s crate…

Finn Balor!!!!

Do you receive any subscription services? What are you currently geeking out over? Which items did you like in the crate? Hopefully this will be the last of the month late crates lol. Let’s talk subscriptions!

Countdown to 2018: Favorite WWE Events in 2017!

Happy Wednesday Superstars! Do you know what time is it? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT TIME IT IS! Actually, it does. It’s time for another Countdown to 2018 post and if you haven’t guessed by the title or my Wrestling puns, today we are counting down my favorite WWE PayPerView Events in 2017! My rankings list will be in descending order, starting with #5 on my list and revealing my favorite WWE Event of the year!

#5 Hell In A Cell- HIAC

Hell in a Cell was the Smackdown Live Exclusive event in 2017. The main event was not one that I wanted to see as it was Shane McMahon inserting himself into another match that would have helped another Superstar’s reputation. Shane took on Kevin Owens in a personal match. KO felt like Shane was stealing all of the credit and not providing opportunities for deserving Superstars and Shane felt disrespected by Ko’s verbal and physical attacks on his family.  This fueled each competitor to an amazing clash inside and on top of Hell in a Cell. #4 No Mercy – 20170905_No_Mercy_TOTT_feed--6091fb6a7014d2b23e9dfbf6eb8ea9a1

The Raw Exclusive event was an excellent night of television. The Main Event match was for the Universal Championship where Brock Lesner and Braun Strowman met 1 on 1 for the first time. At this point, the entire WWE Universe is behind Braun (and ready to see the Universal Title weekly) so we were all anticipating Brock FINALLY losing the title. No mercy was a very well put together show and impressed me sooo much that I added a “Highlights” section to the end of the post. The women had a great match, the Tag Team match was memorable and Icon John Cena versus Roman Reigns was amazing. To read why I loved No Mercy so much, click here!

#3 NXT War Games – nxt

NXT has been known to put on some exciting events to rival the main shows of Raw and Smackdown. The weekend of Survivor Series, the NXT Takeover event was appropriately titled “Wargames” for the resurrected match created by the late Dusty Rhodes. This was my first NXT Event in a while as I have been busy and not able to watch NXT as much as I did last year. The matches were exciting and entertaining but the draw, the main event was the best match of the night. Wargames is a match consisting of 2 rings connected together and surrounded by a cage. 3 of the most dominant forces in NXT were all battling each other for supremacy. The Authors of Pain + Roderick Strong versus SaNity, versus Undisputed Authority clashed in an epic match. Read more about the event by clicking here!

#2 Survivor Series – survivor series

If you recall my rankings of my favorite WWE Events, Survivor Series was one of my top choices. I really enjoy the 5 on 5 matches and this year WWE took that formula up another level. While the event could have been sooo much better, it wasn’t bad and I really enjoyed it. Survivor Series is one of the cross brand shows where Smackdown and Raw Superstars compete, but this is the only event that the 2 brands face off. This year there was a counter for the matches won by which brand. A new twist was that the champions from each brand were going head to head. Something that really made the event was the Shield reuniting for real on Pay Per View and demolishing the New Day. I was pleased all around. Check out the recap of Survivor Series here!

#1 Wrestlemania 33 – wm33

My number 1 event has to be from Wrestlemania week when the festivities were brought to my home town of Orlando, Florida! This was the most amazing weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better showing, not to mention I met my husband, Seth Rollins! The iconic Undertaker retired, my husband slayed the king of kings Triple H, The Hard Boyz returned in an epic tag team ladder match and more. This was an incredible night of wrestling and I was able to experience it all, here in Orlando. The night was filled with so many amazing matches, click here to review the night!

Thank you for providing your predictions and insights on the WWE matches and events with us all year! Next year the WWE posts will continue (with a few tweaks) with our previews & predictions post the Saturday (or day) before the event and on nights where I was super impressed I will provide Raw, Smackdown or NXT recap posts. The year is already looking promising as the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match was announced at the end of Raw last week! Goodbye 2017 and hello 2018!
