Halloween Memes!

Hello Everyone! Happy Thursday!

Since the other day, I have been scouring the web for anything and everything Halloween! (Just wait till Christmas…I am 10X more extreme!)  From DIY’s, craft projects, baking, costume ideas, decorations, and even Halloween memes, new2I have been searching and looking at it ALL! Yeah, I guess some would say that I have a bit of an obsession but I WANT TO DO IT ALL!!!

Anyways, as I was searching through Pinterest, Tumblr, Google, and GOD know’s what else…I kept laughing at all of the Halloween memes and images I saw and thought I would share them with you ALL!!!!!!!!! (Plus add in my own little comments!)

So I use to love playing Pac Man at small arcades when I was little because I always saw my Pop Pop (Pop Pop means grandpa) play and win and I never did so when this popped onto my screen, I laughed so hard! I also just realized that they are carrying the fruit from the game to his door!

If you love to watch Scary/Horror movies during the month of October, this one is for you.tf15d Could you imagine rolling over in the morning after a great night of sleep and seeing either Michael Myers or Jason next to you? You’d probably be dead a few minutes later! Every time I look at this picture, I just imagine them grabbing their weapons from the sides of the bed and giggling with excitement as they think of all the people their going to kill!

When the squad shows up..

I like this one more for the thought of the whole squad rolling up and having similar costumes! Plus look at that huge PUMPKIN that Charlie Brown is on! It makes me think of Pumpkin Pie!! Great…now I am hungry!

I may have laughed too hard at this one as I can relate to this one so much! Each morning before work, I have to tell myself to drop the orange and purple bows, black eyeliner, and fairy wings before walking out the door! Thank God Luna and I can dress up for work on Halloween or else this would literally be us at work!

Now I love Pumpkin Pie and other pumpkin goodies but too be truthful…I HAVE NEVER TRIED A PUMPKIN SPICE BEVERAGE FROM STARBUCKS BEFORE!!!!! I know many of you are CHOKING on your PSL’s now as you read this but I will make it one of my goals this month to actually try it!

Last but not least (trust me, I could go on for days) but here is the last meme that I will share with you guys! I walked into Hobby Lobby at the end of July and they had already moved the Halloween decorations to Clearance racks and had over 5 rows of CHRISTMAS STUFF OUT!!!! WHAT THE PUMPKIN IS WRONG WITH THEM? I literally stopped dead in my tracks and took a Snapchat picture to show all of my two friends…They had Christmas Trees fully out, lights, ornaments, angels, yard décor, and everything else RED, GREEN, and WHITE littered throughout they aisles. Trust me, I love Christmas but not in July, August, September, October, and for most of November!

I know those were only a few of the hundreds of memes that are out there but these are just a few to start off our Halloween/Fall Season! If you have any you would like to share, comment them below!

Opinion Post/Poll: What do you like?

Hiya Novas! I am sitting here wallowing in miseray and trying to pre plan posts for next week and I just had a though to myself. ” I wonder which posts do you guys enjoy us posting on the blog? I have a few series that I love to write about, but I’m curious as to what you guys think.  thinking   If you wouldn’t mind helping me with my research, please comment below on the types of  posts that you really enjoy reading from us!

Ultimate TKO Series – The Ultimate TKO Series was my first bit of outside of the box writing on the blog. Each week I would pit 2 characters from 2 different games, stories, universes, movies etc against each other to see who would win this Fanfiction battle!

Memoirs of A Villain The Memoris of a Villain posts are journal entries from some of my favorite villains. I write as if I’m that person and I make up a story as to how, why and what the memoir would be, if they were to write one!

Netflix/Series review – Posts about the newest shows on Netflix or Game of Thrones!

First Impressions – The First Impressions posts are my mini snippets of a new game thoughts. It’s not quite a full game review (not like I do a full out review anyway lol) but it’s a taste of the game after a few hours of play.

WWE Posts- I loveeeeeee WWE! My predictions and Preview posts are a regular before each event, but should I add more WWE content?

Collaboration Posts- When I incorporate ideas and answers to questions with others! I like to collaborate with other bloggers and also my friends outside of writing.

Creative Writing Posts– These are my short stories and poetry posts. It’s pretty much my outlet as a writer when I’m feeling especially creative.

Hidden Treasures Posts- Hidden Treasures was another one of those early posts in whicl I would try and highlight a show, game or item that I thought was underrated. (I’m actually thinking of revamping this post to include interviews with others).

Throwback Posts- Those nostalgia posts about everything from the past! Games, TV, Movies, etc!

Discussion Posts- More interactive posts where we talk about games and stuff!

These are some of my favorite posts, but tell me honestly, What would you like to see more of on the blog? What are some of your favorite posts? Let’s talk!

Happy October Everyone! More importantly, it’s October 3rd

Mean Girls

I cannot lie when I say that I have been waiting to post this since about a week ago. Not only is this one of the most iconic and remembered lines from the movie Mean Girls, it’s also one of the most relatable moments for teen girls everywhere. I mean c’mon, we all remember that intense, euphoric, butterfly feeling that we got when we saw our Middle/High School crush walking down the hall or whispering something to us in English class…

Plus, who doesn’t love Lindsay Lohan?

Anyways, I am so excited for what this Fall Season has to bring! All I can think about is candy, leaves falling from trees, light breezes, scary moviespumpkin flavored everything, maroons, blacks, purples, and of course HALLOWEEN! My goal for the month of October is to post at least 3-4 times a week this Fall/Halloween season…

I get a little crazy when it comes to the Holiday’s so I am super pumped! I have so many ideas on what I want to write, make, and share with you all! I may even try to bake…*cue scary music*.

All month long…

So far we are three days into October and I have already watched the Addams Family Movie on Netflix , worn two sweaters (keep in mind, I live in Florida), made a frozen pumpkin pie cause I am too lazy to make one from scratch and have made Halloween inspired Disney Ears for Mickey’s Not So Scary (I’ll post pictures sometime this week!). I feel like I am off to a Spooktacular start!

Can you tell how excited I am??

Luna’s Rankings: Racing Games!

Happy Tuesday Novas! Thank you for reading this week’s Rankings post! This week I will go over my top racing games of all time from worst to last.  Feel free to comment on your top racing games as well!

Cruisin’ USA-  Cruis'n_USA_for_N64,_Front_Cover This was the very first racing game that I can remember playing. I played this game in the lobby area of Wal-Mart back when they had the arcade machines and actually closed lol. I remember my brother Kenny and I would jump in and drive through the different places in the United States.

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit – Need For Speed has been one of the prime racing game franchises in the game. There’s been over 10 Need For Speed Games however, the Hot Pursit game did somethign that no other racing ame did; It allowed you to play as the POLICE! This was fantastic! My friends and I would split into teams of Cops and Racers and play! The best part was that the cop cars had perks such as Spikes and Oil spills that you could use to bust the racer.

This game was FANTASTIC!!!

Mario Kart Double Dash- Double Dash was the sequel to the phenomenal Mario Kart 64 game and was released on Gamecube! Double Dash added an exciting new element of choosing 2 racers for the race! In Mario games, I always strive to select Yoshi if possible, but now being about to select Yoshi and Daisy made everything even better.  Wiithdouble dash you were also provided with perks for each racer.  mario double  Yoshi and Birdo had eggs that you could use to knock cars off and Daisy and Peach had 3 hearts that would pick up any item that ht the car. Double dash was amazing!

Diddy Kong Racing – A worthy rival for the top spot of best racing game is Diddy Kong Racing. What sets this game apart is that you are able to use not only racecares, but planes and hovercrafts to do the racing!

Timber, Conker and Pipsy wer my favs!

I’ve already sang the praises of Diddy Kong Racing games and you can read that post by clicking here!

Snowboard Kids 2- I still remember waking up on my birthdya to unwrap this game for the Nintendo 64. Snowboard Kids 2 was my very first video game owned! It was all mine and not for me AND my brother. This game was so much fun. You would choose your Snowboard Kid and race through levels on the snowboards. You also had different game modes like trick mode where you would try and gain the most points and time attack. There was also a great story that you would play through.  nancy I’ve always used Nancy, the tomboy… go figure lol.

Mario Kart 64 –   mario kart Did you expect to see any other racing game taking the top spot? Of course Mario Kart 64 would be the the king of the castle on this post. I’m sure Mario Kart at least makes an appearance on anyone’s list! This game was one of the revolutionary games to hit the Nintendo 64 console. Being able to play with your favorite Mario chracters in races and battles provided hours of enjoyment for me as a kid. I can’t sing the praises of Mario Kart 64 enough and quite frankly, I don’t need to. Anyone that has played knows how this game changed racing forever!

Those are my rankings for top racing games of all times! Who would you add to the list? What’s your favorite racing game and why? Let’s talk racing games!

The Man In The High Castle: Season 1, Episode 1

Happy Monday all! I hope this post finds you in a good mood, and if today was the opposite of cheerful I hope it brightens your day.

Tonight’s post is exclusively focusing on the first episode of the first season of The Man In The High Castle, which is titled “The New World”. This episode basically introduces you to a majority of the characters that you’ll be seeing throughout the rest of the other episodes, and also to the Japanese Pacific States and Greater Nazi Reich.

Now, if you have not seen the episode yet, I am warning you in advance that there are spoilers in this review. If you want to stop reading right here and view it that’s fine, and if you want to continue reading that’s okay as well. However, though, consider yourself warned. So with that being said…

Let’s get started.

“The New World” starts off in New York City, where we see one of the main characters, Joe Blake, sitting in a movie theater on Broadway watching propaganda films, and accepting a piece of paper (with an address on it) from someone whose identity isn’t exactly made clear. I would say, though, that this person is possibly from the resistance.

Joe does go to this address, and it is revealed to be a sort of factory. Now, this is where you get the vibe that he is possibly working for the Resistance, because he talks about wanting to bring back the America his father knew and talked about, before it was split between the Japanese  and Nazis after they won the war. At that point the Nazis themselves decide to bust into the factory, COPS-style (if you have watched that show at any point then you’ll know what I mean), and Joe Blake is lucky to get into the cab of a semi and drive away before getting caught. The factory manager unfortunately isn’t so lucky as he gets bitten in the neck by a German Shepherd and hauled away by Nazis.

Then the scene shifts to San Francisco, where we get acquainted with Juliana Crain, as well as her mother, stepfather, half sister, and boyfriend, Frank Frink. Juliana does appear to be content with the way things are in the Japanese Pacific States, as she is big into taking classes at the local Dojo and buying herbs which make her mother wince as she drinks them. That is, until she is hurriedly handed a film (along with a bus ticket to Canon City, Colorado, which is in the Neutral Zone) from her half sister, Trudy, who as it turns out is indeed part of the Resistance–and who ends up getting shot by the Japanese right in front of Juliana. This prompts her to view the film, which shows the United States, not the Nazis or Japanese, winning the war. Once she views it, she basically makes up her mind to go to Canon City in Trudy’s place and not to turn the film in to the police, which Frank advises to no avail.

To fast forward, we see Juliana leaving for Canon City, Joe going in that direction himself, and Frank getting arrested along with Trudy’s Resistance boyfriend Randall because the authorities feel that something is up with Juliana disappearing from San Francisco.

As stated originally in my previous post, this episode alone got me into the series. One thing that got my interest right away were the visuals–New York really did look like it was completely taken over by the Nazis, and San Francisco looked, I had to admit it, amazing with the Japanese signage.

As far as content went I feel it was a fitting way to start off the series and season. For this type of show, honestly, it could only begin a certain way, and it worked. For characters, Joe Blake really stood out, due to him being portrayed primarily as working for the Resistance, but then being very ambiguous as a person. Juliana was far more easier to read, due to her character being good hearted and transparent, and in this episode you could tell there was going to be a lot more of her in the episodes to come.

Overall, I give this episode a 5/5.

Hooe you enjoyed the review, Episode 2 will be coming up this weekend!

Memoirs of A Villain: Billy The Puppet (Jigsaw)

“Welcome readers! Do you want to play a game? The premise of the game is simple, try and piece together why I started finding players for my “Jigsaw” puzzles, by reading this memoir. Win and you get to survive. Fail and let’s just say that you are the next contestant for my madhouse. Ready?

When I was just a stump, I had a great life in the Isylum Amateur Mountain forest. It was a great living, watching the daredevils take life by the hand and dive off of the mountain with no care in the world. I’ve overheard many talking about how they are losing the high adrenaline thrills that they first had when looking death straight in the face. That’s when I knew that they wanted to be challenged, they wanted the fear, they needed it.

One day a different type of person came to the mountain. He was timid and  trying to talk himself into diving off the cliff, so I helped him. I revealed my voice and spoke confidence into this weary soul. After his dive, he thanked my by chopping me down and giving me a body. He took care to polish and mold me. As he worked on my body, we talked about how fulfilling live felt after he tested death. How being a strong person and Conquering his fears made hime a better person. Then Jigsaw and I concoted a plan, to make the world a better place. We would make people Realize how precious life really is!

Ashley Burke will be my first love for as long as I can remember. Jigsaw and I found her at a bar one night. I can still remember the first time I set eyes on her. She was hustling a gentleman at the bar, asking for a cigar and another round. She was a mess. I was sitting on the edge of the table staring at this beautiful creature plummeting into the depths. Her hair was brown and she had it swept to the side in one long french braid. Her skin was pale and caked with power and blush. Sad. She reminded me of the dolls in the shop down the steet. The porcelain objects that pouted at you and looked happy, but behind their eyes you could see a hollow grave. Ashley was withering away.

After whispering into Jigsaw’s ear what I’d observed that night, we both agreed to help Ashley. We followed her around 3:20am as she stumbled out of the bar. Ashley did not have a car, she walked 3 blocks over and stopped at a Pizzeria to eat. The way she stuffed the ZigZag calzone in her mouht, further solidified that we needed to help her. Afer wiping her mouth she paid the clerk and sarted walking again. We were in pursuit of her until she turned down the dark alley on Main St.  this was ou moment to help Ashley.

Jigsaw left me in the car and I’m not sure what happened, but Ashley was ours. We ook her home and prepared a room for her. I whispered to Jigsaw that I wanted to meet her, talk to her once she regained consciouness. After much persuasion, he finally set me in the room on a tricycle.  billy   Ashley woke up and I talked to her about life, but she paniced and tried to escape. We had to chain her up. And then the most wonderful idea popped into my mind. I wanted her to truly value life, so I asked her: “Ashley, Do you want to play a game?” At first she didn’t understand, she screamed and kicked me off of my bike. When igsaw brough in the a hand saw and picked me up, Ashley started understanding. Jigsaw left the door open and set up a camera so that we could watch her. We left. She went 3 Days without eating

She went 3 Days without eating and drinking and finally decided to get out. Ashley sturggled but her thinned wrists were finally able to stretch enough to pull the saw towrds her. With the tears in her eyes, I’m assuming from joy, Ashley starting cutting hrough her skin to release herself from the chain.  She cried and muttered words that I couldn’t undertsand. All I remmeber is hearing her saying thank you and looking towards the camera. She dragged herself out of the room.

Fast forward 2 weeks later Jigsaw and I tracked down Ashley. She was sober, dressed in a fancy suit and well groomed. We followed her all day to see her going to a job inside of the First National Bank. She picked up her child from daycare…who knew and took her to the park. She returned home and cooked dinner for her family and husband. She must have felt the connection to me because she rubbed her wrist and turned towards the window. But we were gone. All that was left was a bouquet of Yellow roses, and a note wit a single word on it… “You’re Free.”

Did you decipher the clues? Do you know why I really started helpng people? If you do, please respond in the comments. Remember, I’m always watching.

-Billy the Puppet!
