Raw After Mania!

Happy Tuesday All of your Super Novas! My Wrestlemania Week is finally coming to a close, ending with Smackdown Live and 205 Live tonight. Then I will be back to writing normal posts hahaha. But until then, today’s post I will talk about last night’s Monday Night Raw and how incredible the atmosphere was! The Raw after Wrestlemania was insane and I had sooo much fun. I will show a few videos that I recorded on my phone (the quality isn’t that good mind you lol). I don’t even know where to start!

The beginning of the show was all of use cheering Undertaker and who comes out? Roman Reigns which I didn’t mind. But the masses overwhelmingly kept changing the chants and boos and wouldn’t let Roman Speak. That was about 15 minutes (go watch Raw on Hulu to see lol). We had an excellent match with the

Hardy’s vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson which was phenomenal. Then things took a turn when Neville faced Mustafa Ali in the Cruiserweight match. There were Beach Balls being thrown around the crowd that erupted the place and was a little disrespectful to the Cruiserweights. If you watched Raw you can see Neville getting upset about it lol.

Really the highlight of the night for me was the main event match. **Spoiler Alert, Spoiler Alert** It was scheduled to be Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho vs Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens. After a backstage attack on Jericho the new GM of Raw, Kurt Angle, had to find Rollins a partner. Who do you think it could be? The roof almost blew off of the Amway Center when Finn Balor stepped back into the arena. I have been waiting for Balor to return since the Royal Rumble and then to see him with my husband Seth Rollins was almost too much for me to handle. Anyways the Monday Night Raw after Mania was so electric and fun. Tonight is Smackdown Live but I can’t say that I think it will surpass that feeling last night (but let’s see if Nakamura debuts 😉 ). Anyways here are so videos of my time last night.

I have may more videos but I’m sure you don’t want to hear me screaming from the top of my lungs lol. This was an incredible experience and I cannot wait until tonight’s event! BTW it was hilarious seeing what happens when we are on commercial. There were a few bloopers like Neville getting stuck on the ring while the techs were changing the ring colors. It was pretty funny or the crowd cheering “Sweep, Sweep, Sweep” during a match when the techs had to clean up the New Day’s mess. Super awesome time! Have a fantastic Tuesday!

  1. I am bummed out, I’m a massive Undertaker fan so I’m kinda sad to see him go. Man deserves it and I hope he sticks around in another role, maybe training new generations in character work, since no one else has kept a gimmick alive for as long as he has, nor has anyone stayed in character through as much as him. Hell, Stone Cold said that during his time in the company, it was kind of a running bet/challenge to try to get Calaway to break character.

I’m disappointed they didn’t turn Roman heel, he clearly enjoys the boos and the hatred, he was basking in it during Raw. When he couldn’t speak out, he was smiling to himself. He’s a natural heat magnet and WWE should capitalise on it. Retiring Taker was a golden opportunity for a heel turn, considering just how much heat you get, instantly, no matter who you are, for beating Taker at mania.

Other than that, I thought it was a good show, both Raw and Mania…though is it just me or was that ramp to the ring at mania just ridiculously long?

    • Thank you for your comment! Yea, I’m a little sad as well because the Undertaker was one of my first favorite wrestlers when I was a kid. He played the role really well and it was awesome to see him still pulling crazy tricks and being all creepy.

I think Roman will turn heel eventually. It will make the WWE Universe happy sooo we will see. It would be funny if they put the shield back together and then Roman betrays the others!!!!

Yes, the ramp was like 82 yards long lol. I believe the longest ramp for Wrestlemania (not sure why) and it was elevated!!!! People were running out of breath for sure lol. Thanks for commenting! Did you watch Smackdown last night?

      • Of course, how could I miss that bizarre Randy Orton & Luke Harper team up?

Also, Naomi has now won twice by essentially pulling the other woman’s hair, which is an odd choice for a submission.

I’m glad Harper’s on his own. I recently read he isn’t a fan of the Wyatt Family, he doesn’t remember his time there fondly, acting as enhancement and second to Wyatt every time. For a guy with his experience, that must have been maddening.

One of my favourite mania moments was Cena’s entrance. He looked at the camera and just said “this is gonna be a long run!”

I had hoped for the elaborate mania entrances, so the lack of those in favour of the airplane runway was a bit disappointing.

Could you imagine how long the show would have run if Undertaker didn’t have his nifty secret shortcut near the bottom of the ramp? If he had to walk the entire thing? 😛
